  "Optimal Timing for Workouts: Evening vs. Morning" I have been working out for the last 5 years and have a decent body. Initially during my early days when I started working out ,I used to weigh around 54kg and now after 5 years of hard work I weigh around 75kg (5ft 11inch) with 10 percent body fat. To answer the question , if you go by the book the best time to workout ( weight lifting ) is around  4 to 5 in the evening provided you have your lunch by 1:30p.m and your pre workout meal around 4 p.m for a 4:30 p.m workout . Evening time is considered the best a because your body will be in the best condition for physical activity compared to other times. Your lung performance is best and also your body flexibility and strength is at its peak. Having said that I myself workout in the morning because that's the only time I have.
